Danish literature marked with prizes of the “Reading St. Petersburg 2020” contest
On 4 March the Mayakovsky Library announced the winners of the Reading St. Petersburg: Choosing Best Foreign Writer 2020 project and contest.
Merete Pryds Helle’s Vi kunne alt (We had it all) received the 2nd prize in the nomination of books on original languages and Charlotte Weitze’s Harzensanger (Harz’s Singer) shared the 1st place in the nomination of books translated into Russian with the Lithuanian author Dalia Staponkutė.
Vi kunne alt was published by Lindhardt og Ringhof and Harzensanger, translated by Egor Fetisov, was published by Eksmo.
